Stephanie Kleidon proposed some advertising prospects for MBRA - she will be putting our information in several publications and websites that she found.  Stephanie will also be making up some membership cards to be handed out at our events.   Heather Rutten will be making up packets to be mailed out to potential new members by Robyn Slipka.  If you have someone you want a packet mailed to please get in touch with Robyn at robynslip51@mac.com and she will be happy to put your personal note in the mailing.

MBRA Banquet a HUGE SUCCESS

Congratulations to all who made the MBRA Banquet a success, the facility was amazing, the food was amazing and as always the awards were amazing!

The evening started out with a very nice social hour where everyone got to catch up with friends they hadn't seen since late fall.  Items set out on the silent auction tables were checked and re-checked to see if it was something each person wanted to bid on.

Kristin Whitaker and Nikki Smith then took the stage for a Wonderful presentation of the MBRA Horse Hall of Fame recipient Docs Gotcher Cash "Gotcha" and Amy Dukatz.  Amy had tears in her eyes as she recieved this very honored award.

The Silent Auction ended with lots of Great Items being bid on and won.  The Live Auction, thanks to Pete Houck and his helpers was a huge success.  There were winter horse blankets, a homemade quilt by Toni Leader, spur straps and many other items purchased on the live auction.

Jill Houck & Heather Rutten proceeded with giving awards to the Top Ten PeeWee, Top Ten Youth, Top 5 Senior, Top Ten Rodeo and Top Ten Open Division Winners and the Rookie of the Year Awards.  Please see our home page for some photos from this event.
