Sired by FIREWATER FLIT, whose progeny have earned over $2 million in barrel racing earnings. Firewater Finale's dam is a daughter of leading broodmare sire, BULLY BULLION, and she is a multiple AQHA World Show producer. His second dam is a AAA race winner by the great EASILY SMASHED. Firewater Finale suffered a life-threatening joint infection in July of his 5 year old year, but he proved how big his heart was when he came back later that fall to be the South Dakota Heartland Futurity Overall Champion, a multiple barrel futurity Top 10 Finalist, and a money earner in the Womens Pro Rodeo Assn. He earned some Derby checks as a 6 year old and was the Reserve Champion at the JJ Classic Derby, second only behind NFR qualifier and NFR go round winner, RC Back In Black. He has earnings of over $12,000 in barrel racing and mounted shooting. 2011 was his first year of mounted shooting with Brett Borkowski and with only 5 shoots under his belt prior to the 2011 CMSA World Championships, they ended up 2nd in the [M4] Division and 15th overall out of around 300 shooters. His first crop of foals are 4 years old in 2012 and we are excited to see how they perform in the arena.
Watch For Ashley DeRosier and Cashin In On Fire, "Lexi" her 4 year old filly sired by Firewater Finale, purchased from Walker Speed Horses. They will be entering Futurities in 2012.
